'The artwork for the cover of "Dignitas personae et Amor Dei: Human Dignity and Divine Love; thoughts and inspirations from Edith Stein" is the result of a profound reflection on human dignity and divine love, inspired by the deep thoughts of Edith Stein. Applying the technique of 'cyanotype', which captures the imprint of light on photosensitive paper, proved to be the perfect metaphor for expressing Stein's thoughts on divine love. Just as the sun imprints its mark on the paper, so too does God's love imprint the person's fundamental value upon and within them, revealing their innate dignity. Each cyanotype frame is unique, just like every individual, and this irreplaceable quality of the technique reflects Edith Stein's view of the singularity and uniqueness of the person.

In the abstract composition, the small wildflowers that I chose to use, intentionally evoke neural connections, symbolizing the mysterious interplay between the person and the divine. Edith Stein invites us to see the person as a unique entity, but also as part of a greater network, interconnected with others and with God.

In this way, the cover image is not merely an illustration but intends to be a prompt for reflection on the themes and meaning of the concepts explored in the book itself.
